Job Description


This is an exciting opportunity that has come around due to the consistent growth of our transport team. In this position, you will ensure the smooth day-to-day running and coordination of the Transport and Hydrovac fleets. This role will see you work with not only our Fulton Hogan crews but also external clients and subcontractors.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure our customers receive their products/equipment on time and in full.
  • Allocate total fleet resources to customer jobs (dayshift and nightshift) after job requirements have been entered into TMS by transport administrators.
  • Carry out the above as efficiently as possible ensuring the right company/truck/driver for the job, to maximize margin returns and achieve positive operational outcomes.
  • Monitor live performance of fleet to ensure they are fully utilized and optimized.
  • Proactive communication with customers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Full Class 1 license.
  • Previous dispatch experience within the civil or construction industry.
  • Good knowledge of the Wider Wellington region.
  • Excellent people and organizational skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Possess a positive, can-do attitude.
  • An unwavering commitment towards living safely with a safety record to match.
