Job Description
As a Plumber, your daily activities will be associated with water and wastewater reticulation. This may include maintaining underground utilities, operating mobile plant, working with live sewers, and working in confined spaces. The position is required to assist with after-hours work and be part of an on-call support roster for the water and waste section.
What we are looking for:
1. You will have a working knowledge of water and wastewater reticulation systems.
2. You will have good levels of written, oral skills and highly developed numeracy skills.
3. You will be able to work well in a small team environment.
4. You will be able to successfully work on your own and be able to problem solve.
5. You will have knowledge of and experience complying with WHS and environmental legislative. requirements
6. You will hold a current Plumber and Drainer Licence.
7. You will hold a current Queensland MR licence or be able to obtain one.
