Job Description


The person should be capable of working in a high-pressure environment and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A good team player and able to work unsupervised. You can work flexible shifts, including weekends, late nights, and public holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Food preparation and cooking, plating, and presentation.
  • Maintaining appropriate temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment.
  • Check the quality of foodstuff.
  • Following food safety requirements.
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean at all times.
  • Clean the kitchen equipment after each shift.
  • Perform additional duties as per the business requirement.
  • Receive stock, and store them properly in a clean and dry place.
  • Check the stock and report to the head cook as and when the stock level is low.

Requirements:

  • A Cookery Certificate - Level 4
  • Minimum of two years work experience as a Chef/Cook in a Fast-Food Cooking Facility.
  • Friendly and works well within the team.
  • Able to adapt to the changing environments.
  • Clear communication and ability to follow instructions.
  • Capable of learning new skills quickly.
