Job Description
Are you a skilled and experienced carpenter looking for a new challenge? Do you have all your own tools and a proven track record of delivering quality work on time and within budget? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are hiring for a reputable construction company working on renovating a school in Porirua in the Wellington region.
You will be expected to work on various aspects of the carpentry work, such as framing, flooring, roofing, cladding, doors, windows, and fittings. You will also need to follow the health and safety regulations and work closely with other tradespeople on site.
Requirements:
- At least five years of experience as a commercial carpenter.
- A relevant qualification or trade certificate in carpentry (not necessary but beneficial).
- All your own tools and equipment.
- Reliable transport and a valid driving license.
- A portfolio of previous projects that demonstrate your skills and quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
