The event season buzzes, with their busiest periods being the end and start of the year, with a milder low period during the colder months.

Offering you a mixture of roles, the SILLY season when the demand is high, will require you to work well under pressure while ensuring seamless planning and execution... Flexibility is crucial as the demands may call for overtime to get the job done! While the SLOW season, allows your organizational skills to shine! Seizing the opportunity to organize the warehouse, and conduct stocktakes and inventory. Ensuring you’re geared up for the forthcoming event season. Dive into the thick of it with your team, leading by example!
Keeping in mind this isn't your run-of-the-mill 9-to-5 job.

Duties include:

  • Complete all pre-operation start-up and shut-down procedures
  • Lead and motivate your team with a “can do” attitude and be a part of the team that continually step up to smash deadlines.
  • Carry out Rostering staff as well as Agency casuals, working knowledge of ‘Deputy” is not essential but an added advantage.
  • Induct all new employees.
  • Inventory control and Stocktaking.
  • Provide training and skills development.
  • Maintain healthy relationships with suppliers and collaborations.
  • Plan and implement efficient schedules Complete reporting.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of processes and procedures.
  • Dispatch and Receipt Goods accurately and efficiently.

Requirements for the role:

  • Valid Forklift Licence - requiring on/off fork work.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suitee and Outlookk (Basic knowledge of Excel).
  • Excellent communication skills Safety first mindset.
  • Willing to put in the required effort to accomplish the task.
