Job Description
The role: As a plumber, your daily activities will involve water and wastewater reticulation, including maintaining underground utilities, operating mobile plants, working with live sewers, and working in confined spaces. The position requires assisting with after-hours work and being part of an on-call support roster for the water and waste section.
What we are looking for:
- You will have a working knowledge of water and wastewater reticulation systems.
- You will have good levels of written and oral skills, as well as highly developed numeracy skills.
- You will be able to work well in a small team environment.
- You will be able to work successfully on your own and be able to problem solve.
- You will have knowledge of and experience in complying with WHS and environmental legislative requirements.
- You will hold a current Plumber and Drainer Licence.
- You will hold a current Queensland MR licence or be able to obtain one.
