Eligibility to get Visitor Visa


  1. 1.Proof of identity

Documents required


  • 1. A passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of travel is required

  • 2. A photocopy of the passport’s bio page

  • 3. A copy of the two-way tickets must be submitted at the time of application

  • 4. Evidence of financial resources through the most recent bank statement

  • 5. Invitation letter from a sponsor, friend, or family member in the overseas country

  • 6. Statement of the sponsor’s/friend’s/finances in the overseas country

  • 7. A copy of the sponsor’s passport

  • 8. If you are married to an overseas national, you will need a marriage certificate

  • 9. In the case of minors, the parents’ birth certificates and marriage certificates are required



Processing time and visa fees


The candidate is required to pay an application fee of 246 NZ Dollars (approximately Rs. 12,500) The application fee is non-transferable and non-refundable, irrespective of whether the tourist visa is approved or not. Once the tourist visa is approved, the candidate may have to pay a visa issuance fee. The ideal processing time for the New Zealand tourist visa from India is anywhere between eight and thirty-six days. However, a delay can be expected in certain scenarios. It is suggested that the visitor start their immigration application process at least 6–8 weeks before they plan to visit the country.
