Requirements


  1. 1. You should be nominated by a state or territory government agency to invest at least AUD 2.5 million that meets certain requirements if you were invited to apply on or after July 1, 2021.

  3. 3. Have net business, investment, and personal assets of at least AUD 2.5 million.



Eligibility

  3. 3. Own and manage business and personal assets and investments.

  4. 4. Have the right experience.

  5. 5. Score at least 65 on the points test.

  6. 6. Intend to live in a specific state or territory.

  7. 7. You should be under 55 years of age.

  8. 8. Not have a history of involvement in unacceptable activities.

  9. 9. Have functional English.

  10. 10. Meet the Health requirements.

  11. 11. Meet the character requirements.

  12. 12. Sign the Australian value statements.

  13. 13. Have no debt to the Australian government.

  14. 14. Not have had a visa cancelled or a previous application refused.

Your obligations


  1. 1. You and your family members who are part of your application must comply with all visa conditions and Australian laws.

  2. 2.In particular, you must commit to continuing to maintain your investment and comply with Australian workplace laws.

  3. 3. To be eligible for the grant of a Business Innovation and Investment (Permanent) visa (subclass 888) in the Investor stream, you must live in the state or territory in which you made the designated investment for at least 2 years during the period during which your provisional visa is valid.
