A Speedway Store Leader is the heart and soul of the store. The Store Leader, along with an Assistant or two, makes up the store’s leadership team. They execute merchandising and marketing initiatives, drive profitability, develop the skills of the entire store team, and ensure customers are well taken care of. Many of Speedway’s top managers started their careers as cashiers, some even as part-timers simply looking for some extra income. Fast forward through hard work, completion of Speedway training programs, and really learning the business, and it’s easy to see how Speedway can boast about having the best store management teams in the industry.

What you bring:

  • Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees.
  • Desire to maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging employee productivity.
  • Ability to oversee and implement all merchandising and marketing programs.
  • Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred: Word, Excel).
  • A High School diploma or GED is preferred but not required for candidates who have at least one year of retail management experience.
