Job Description
Electrician positions available in Welwyn Garden City for 2024-2025, seeking skilled electricians for various projects across the UK. Responsibilities:
- Carrying out electrical installation/remedial works both Commercial & Domestic in line with current regulations
- Carrying out all aspects of electrical works on projects from installation to test and commissioning within agreed programmes
- Providing procurement information for materials required for projects, ensuring the distribution and safe keeping of materials on site and notification of any defects/shortfalls
- Maintaining an effective liaison with the Client or Clients representative and advising line manager where appropriate
- Completing testing and commissioning certification
- Providing technical advice to employees and clients
- Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety requirements on site
- Ensuring all relevant paperwork is returned to the office in a timely fashion
Requirements (Essential):
- Must have excellent customer service skills with strong attention to detail
- You must have good organisation skills to ensure deadlines are met, and be able to demonstrate self-motivation and initiative to get to the heart of a problem to take it through to completion.
- Basic computer knowledge.
Requirements (Desirable):
- City & Guilds 2391(or 2394/5)
- is desirable for the candidate to have IPAF/PASMA and CSCS however this is not essential as the correct training can be offered by the company to obtain these.
