Our Board of Directors mostly started on the tools themselves so have a ‘hands-on’ understanding of the work we do. We work in the social housing sector and provide reactive repairs for local authorities and housing associations. Gilmartins are looking to recruit a talented and experienced Carpenter Multi Trader with additional trades such as basic plumbing and electrics, windows repairs skills. The ideal trades person will have worked in social housing. The work will be across Aldershot, Guildford and surrounds in Surrey. Properties are situated across all of these areas so there will be regular travel as a requirement of the job. We are looking for someone who lives central to these areas and is willing to travel and work across these post codes.
Role:
- Carry out property repairs and maintenance works – social housing.
- Working to Scope of Works on PDA for each job.
Requirements:
- Full driving license.
- Time served or qualified.
- Experience of working in social housing.
- DBS certificate (no more than 3 years ago).
- CSCS card – due to changes in legislation following the Grenfell Inquiry.
