Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, load and unload goods, and operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. They will oversee the vehicle's condition, perform inspections, and ensure the safe transportation of goods. Responsibilities also include receiving and relaying information to central dispatch, recording cargo information, and tarping and securing cargo.
Responsibilities:

Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.

Load and unload goods.

Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks.

Oversee vehicle condition and inspect equipment.

Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.

Receive and relay information to central dispatch.

Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.

Tarp and secure cargo.
-
Ensure safety and security of cargo.
Qualifications:
-
High school graduation certificate.
-
Air Brakes Endorsement.
-
Valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
-
1 to less than 7 months of experience.

Documentation knowledge (driver logbook, inspection reports).

Experience with tractor-trailers.

Communication systems experience (GPS, navigation equipment).

Transportation/travel experience in long-haul.
-
Clean driving record.
-
Strong communication skills.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
