Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Truck Driver to join our team in NE Rocky View. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading goods, operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, and overseeing the vehicle's condition. They will perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information. Responsibilities also include tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
Responsibilities:

Load and unload goods.

Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks.

Oversee vehicle condition and inspect equipment.

Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.

Receive and relay information to central dispatch.

Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.

Tarp and ensure safety and security of cargo.
Qualifications:
-
No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
-
1 to less than 7 months of experience.

Valid Class 1 or A driver's license.

Documentation knowledge (driver logbook, trip reports).

Clean driving record.
-
Strong communication skills.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
