Job Description


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health Services Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising laboratory technical personnel, medical clinical personnel, graduate students, research scientists, and other professionals. They will also provide advice to senior managers and officials, maintain and manage health information databases, perform administrative tasks, and compile and analyze statistical information. Responsibilities also include producing reports, recruiting and hiring staff, monitoring health care programs, and presenting the views of an association or organization to members, the media, and the general public.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise laboratory technical personnel, medical clinical personnel, graduate students, research scientists, and other professionals.

  • Provide advice to senior managers and officials.

  • Maintain, update, and manage health information databases.

  • Perform administrative tasks.

  • Compile and analyze statistical information.

  • Produce reports.

  • Recruit and hire staff.

  • Monitor health care programs.

  • Present the views of an association or organization to members, the media, and the general public.

  • Organize conferences and meetings.

  • Produce newsletters, magazines, and other documents.

  • Prepare research papers, educational texts, or articles.

  • Provide consulting services to government and other organizations.

  • Conduct interviews.

  • Act as a liaison within the organization between staff and management around wellness issues.

Qualifications:

  • Earned doctorate degree.

  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience.

  • Strong leadership and management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of health care systems and programs.
