Job Description


A Home Child Care Provider assumes full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents. They bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, prepare and serve nutritious meals, supervise and care for children, and take children to and from school and appointments.

Responsibilities:

  • Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.

  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.

  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.

  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals.

  • Take children to and from school and to appointments.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Skills:

  • Ability to manage household responsibilities in the absence of parents.

  • Knowledge of child care practices and safety guidelines.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Patience and compassion towards children.

  • First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).

Physical Requirements:

  • Stamina and endurance to care for children throughout the day.

  • Ability to lift and carry infants and young children.
